Genetics of Obesity

Genetics plays a crucial role in obesity. Genes will directly cause obesity with disorders like Bardet-Biedi syndrome and Prader-willi syndrome. However genes do not always predict future health issues, however genes and behaviour could each be required for an individual to be overweight. These days numerous treatments and medications are available for the genetics of obesity. Gene therapy could be a wildly used treatment for obesity.
