Track 7:- Genetics of Obesity
Obesity is very heritable. Obesity can be a complicating disorder resulting from the interactions of a wide variety of hereditary and environmental factors. Polymorphisms in various genes controlling appetite and metabolism predispose to obesity under certain dietary conditions. One gene mutation, the melanocortin 4 receptor, may be responsible for tens of thousands of cases of obesity. Monogenic type of genetic mutation can result in severe forms of obesity that run in families. Occurrences of monogenic kinds of overweight are evidence that obesity may be caused by genetic mutations. The most common forms of obesity are probably the result of variations within a large number of genes.

Likewise, the estimated glomerular filteration rate may progressively fall from a normal of over 90 ml/min/1.73m2 to less than 15, at which point the patient is said to have end-stage kidney disease (ESKD). It usually is slowly progressive over years.

Track 14:- Pediatric Endocrinology
If your child has problems with growth, puberty, diabetes or other disorders related to the hormones and the glands that produce them. Hormones are chemicals that affect how others parts of the body work. For example, hormones decide how a child grows and matures. Endocrinology is the science that studies these glands and the effects of the hormones. Endocrine glands like the pituitary glands, release hormones into the bloodstream. Related Conferences:

Track 16:- Women’s Health
Women have unique health related issue. Unique heath issues include pregnancy, menopause, and conditions of the female organs. Women can have a healthy pregnancy by getting proper, early and regular prenatal care. They are also recommended several tests for cervical cancer, breast cancer and bone density screenings. Complications of pregnancy include health problems that occur during pregnancy. They can involve baby's health, mother’s health or both. Diet and nutrition plays a major role during pregnancy time. Important nutritious diet includes Protein rich veg diet and Calcium rich recipes. The best time to try and conceive is during the ‘fertile window’ of the menstrual cycle i.e. ovulation time.

Track 17:- Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease
Diabetes is treatable but even when glucose levels are under control it greatly increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. People with diabetes, particularly type 2 diabetes, may have the higher risk of cardiovascular disease. However, by managing their risk factors, patients with diabetes may avoid or delay the development of heart and blood vessel disease.

Track 18:- Care & Prevention of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
Endocrinology is a division of biology and medicine dealing with the endocrine system, its functions, diseases and its specific secretions knows as hormones. It is also concerned with the integration of developmental events proliferation, growth and differentiation and the psychological or behavioural activities of metabolism, growth and development, respiration, sleep, excretion, mood, stress, lactation, movement, caused by hormones. These hormones are responsible for performing several important functions in our body. Physiological, cellular and molecular studies in whole animals or humans will be considered for mechanisms of hormones and growth factor action, hormonal and nutritional regulation of metabolism, inflation, micro biome and energy balance and temporal analysis of hormone secretion and metabolism..

Scope and Importance:
The pace of discovery in diverse areas of obesity research is rapid and accelerating. Advances in areas ranging from basic biomedical and behavioural science through clinical and community studies have opened the door to new opportunities for both better targeted and more comprehensive approaches to obesity prevention and treatment. Basic research has led to the development of new animal models. Results of this research may lead to new therapeutic targets. Studies of the complex signalling pathways within the brain and between the brain and other organs and tissues, such as the gut and fat tissue, are further elucidating appetite and energy expenditure regulation. Elucidation of the ways in which susceptibility or protective gene variants interact with environmental factors or drugs will provide an opportunity for personalized prevention and treatment strategies. Understanding epigenetic mechanisms regulating metabolic tissues and the role of environmental factors in modifying epigenetic states may lead to important discoveries about potentially preventable contributors to obesity. Innovative methods to measure food intake and physical activity are allowing better measurement of energy balance in real-world settings. Understanding changes in the food supply, marketing, and consumption may also provide insights into their role in obesity development.
Anti-Obesity Market:
The anti-obesity drug market growth will be driven by the rapid uptake of novel emerging agents and the high prevalence of obesity. According to Global Anti-Obesity Drugs Market 2015-2019 research, the global anti-obesity drugs market is set to grow at a CAGR of 39.45% over the period 2014-2019. The U.S. is expected to spend $344 billion on health care costs attributable to obesity in 2018 if rates continue to increase at their current levels. The obesity drug market will increase more than six-fold over the next decade, increasing from $420 million in 2010 to $2.6 billion in 2020 in the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and Japan. Currently, the obesity drug market consists of very few effective drugs, with limited availability in different regions - only Orlistat is available in both the EU and the US.
Why in Paris, France?
According to new figures from Statistics France (CBS) and the France National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), more than 100.000 people in the France above the age of 20 were morbidly obese in 2017. This equates to 0,9 percent of the population over 20 years old.
According to the EU figures, Malta has the highest obesity rates, with 26 percent of the population above 18 severely overweight. Latvia and Hungary follow Malta as the most obese EU member states.
As per WHO, 72% of men and 64% of women were overweight or fatty in 2015. The overweight amount is the highest among the men with a higher level of education, while the obesity rate is the highest among less-educated women.
The Drenthe region tops the list with 52.9 percent of its adult residents being overweight, followed by the Flevoland region with 52.4 percent. Amsterdam is on the bottom of the list with 40.7 percent of its residents weighing too much.
